Assignment 5: The Recreation

I think these are good examples of portrait style photos. They all have different aspects as to why they are good examples of Portrait-style photos. The first one has the sun rising, while my friend Portia, stands off to the side. The next one has my friend driving while holding up a peace sign and the last one has Portia looking back at me while I took the photo. I don't remember exactly what I said to make her turn around, but I'm sure it was something because I can tell by the look on her face.

Assignment 4: Portrait (Lakeitha Henley)

This is a photo of my nephew. He is at the museum. I think this is a good representation of a portrait of him because he really loves the museum and it is one of his favorite places to visit.

Lakeitha Henley: Assignment 3

This is a photo of my niece and nephew in the Fall of 2008. This photo is a good example of emotion in a photo because you can look in their faces and see that they are happy and having a great time playing in the leaves. I remember the day that I took this photo. I was at home babysitting them and my oldest nephew (not pictured) was supposed to be raking the yard, but he didn't really want to do that. So I suggested that they have a little fun by playing in the leaves (because I remembered when  I was younger, it was something that me and my brothers did before we raked the yard).

This photo was taken at the Stephens Natatorium, which is right next to the (old) Stephens Auditorium and right across from Silverthorne Arena. I took this photo because I felt it was a good example of what happens to certain areas of campus that have not been taken care of. The building where this photo was taken is still in use. The building houses swim meets and in the basement of the Stephens Natatorium, the P.E. Dance Studio is located.
